Bridging the gap between neurodivergent and neurotypical brains
Psychology Tools For All helps neurodivergent and neurotypical people understand each other without blame, pathologizing, or oversimplification.
We translate everyday moments in couples, families, schools, and workplaces, so differences stop becoming conflicts and start becoming workable.
This is not about fixing people.
It’s about changing the way we understand behaviour, communication, and connection.
Welcome! I’m Dr. Olga Coelho and I’m so glad you’re here.

I´m a Clinical Psychologist, mother of two, and the founder of Psychology Tools For All. Over the past 20 years I have been supporting neurodivergent minds and the people who love, live, and work alongside them. Many struggles aren’t about lack of effort or care but about misunderstanding how different brains function and connect. I combine clinical practice with the latest research to offer practical, real-life tools. My work focuses on reducing shame, easing conflict, and preventing burnout. Not by changing people but by helping them understand themselves and each other.

The Problem We See Every Day
Most relationship difficulties involving neurodiversity are not caused by lack of care. They’re caused by misinterpretation.
-
One person needs space to regulate → the other experiences rejection.
-
One person seeks reassurance → the other feels overwhelmed.
-
One values predictability → the other experiences control.
-
One communicates directly → the other hears criticism.
Same moment. Different nervous systems. Very different meanings.
When these differences aren’t translated, people blame themselves or each other.
At Psychology Tools For All, we focus on bridging neurotype differences through:
-
Psychoeducation that makes sense in real life.
-
Tools that reduce conflict instead of escalating it.
-
Frameworks that support regulation before resolution.
-
Language that replaces judgement with understanding.
Diagnosis may be part of the picture, but it is never the whole story.
Understanding how different brains process, regulate, and connect is what changes relationships.

Content that helps you say, “That’s exactly what happens, now I understand why.”
“For the first time, our differences stopped feeling like a problem to solve and started making sense. Dr. Olga helped us understand what was happening between our brains, not just who was ‘right’ or ‘wrong’. That changed everything in our relationship.”
- Maryam & James Malouf
“As a parent, I was exhausted and constantly questioning myself. The tools and explanations I found here helped me untangle what was behaviour, what was regulation, and what my child actually needed. Less guilt, more clarity and a calmer home.”
- Elizabeth Watley
“I finally felt understood without being labelled or reduced to a diagnosis. The way psychology is translated here is practical, respectful, and grounded in real life. It helped me stop blaming myself and start working with my brain instead of against it.”
- David Tarrant
