I’m Dr. Olga Coelho, a Clinical Psychologist, mother of two, and the founder of Psychology Tools For All.
I want you to know that this is a safe place for anyone who has struggled with stress, anxiety, feeling different, being bullied, rejected, or repeatedly told to “try harder” in order to fit in. And it’s also a space for parents, partners, family members, and friends who believe that kindness, compassion, and humanity can, and should, come first.

With over 20 years of experience, my work sits at the intersection of clinical psychology, neurodiversity, and relationships. I support neurodivergent children, teens, and adults, as well as the people who love, raise, and work alongside them. Many of the difficulties I see are not about lack of effort or care, but about misunderstanding how different brains think, feel, regulate, and connect.

Parenting can be deeply rewarding, but it is also one of the most challenging roles we take on. Parents of children with Autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, sensory processing differences, and related profiles often struggle to connect, communicate, and fully understand their child’s needs. Over time, this can lead to feelings of guilt, frustration, exhaustion, and hopelessness.

My professional goal is to empower neurodivergent individuals and their families with practical, evidence-based tools that support regulation, communication, and emotional safety. I focus on reducing shame, easing conflict, and preventing burnout not by changing who people are, but by changing the conditions around them.

Above all, my work is guided by one core commitment: to help create environments where neurodivergent children, teens, and adults can thrive, feel understood, and be protected from harm while building relationships that are more peaceful, meaningful, and humane.
About
Dr. Olga Coelho is a clinical psychologist and neuroinclusion advocate. She is the founder of Psychology Tools For All and the NeuroinclusionLab. She maintains a clinical practice and also speaks and provides training to schools, professional organizations, and corporate groups across the Middle East and Europe on the topics of child and adolescent development, Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Neuroinclusion, Parenting, Family Mental Health, as well as Adult Well-being.

Dr. Olga Coelho holds a bachelor’s degree in clinical and counselling psychology, a master’s degree in Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with honour from the University of Lisbon, Portugal. She is a licensed Clinical Psychologist by the Portuguese Psychological Association (OPP), an APA international affiliate, a SEN Specialist by the OPP, ABA trained by the Florida Institute of Technologies - US, a member of the Research Centre for Psychological Research at the University of Lisbon, and reviewer for the BMC Psychology journal. Dr. Coelho´s research has been published in several reputable scientific journals such as the American Journal of Health Behaviour, BMC Psychology, Clinical Practice and Epidemiology in Mental Health, and sponsored by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and Zayed University, Dubai.

Dr. Coelho speaks around the Middle East countries and Europe on a wide range of topics including, stress, anxiety, personality, well-being, parenting, education, ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia, and child and adolescent development.
